The version tested was 1.002.000 on PS5 and 1.02 on PS4/Pro. Note that the 120fps footage was captured at 1080p. There may be some audio quality issues here which seems to be a capture problem.

PS4 uses a dynamic resolution with the highest resolution found being 1920×1080 and the lowest resolution found being 960×1080. On PS4 a form of temporal upsampling is used that can reconstruct a 1920×1080 resolution when rendering below this resolution.
PS4 Pro uses a dynamic resolution with the highest resolution found being approximately 2730×1536 and the lowest resolution found being approximately 1365×1536. On PS4 Pro a form of temporal upsampling is used that can reconstruct a 2730×1536 resolution when rendering below this resolution.
PS5 in the 60fps mode uses a dynamic resolution with the highest resolution found being 3840×2160 and the lowest resolution found being 1920×2160. On PS5 in the 60fps mode a form of temporal upsampling is used that can reconstruct a 3840×2160 resolution when rendering below this resolution.
PS5 in the 120fps mode uses a dynamic resolution with the highest resolution found being approximately 2730×1536 and the lowest resolution found being approximately 1365×1536. On PS5 in the 120fps mode a form of temporal upsampling is used that can reconstruct a 2730×1536 resolution when rendering below this resolution.
PS4, PS4 Pro and PS5 in both modes all appear to be using a form of Variable Rate Shading. The temporal upsampling used also seems to reconstruct the parts of the frame with a reduced shading rate from VRS.
PS5 in both modes and PS4 Pro render the UI at 3840×2160.
PS5 in both modes has screen space shadows and shadows from spotlights not seen on PS4 or PS4 Pro https://bit.ly/2XcG0Sf
PS4 and PS4 Pro both have screen space reflections which weren’t present in the alpha.

They are some pretty low resolutions on PS5. This game is going to look a little blurry on a 4k display. Let's hope they optimise the game some more, at least the DRS seems to work well enough…
I definitely noticed the frame rate lag on the hotel map for 120hz mode it felt really bad sometimes especially when it was 14v14 so the results are odd felt like 60fps or below when it dropped I wonder whats been causing the lag as the latency was low and packet loss was 0%
Base ps4 should be better in the final game
Great stuff. Would be cool if you could do the launch version of Tales of Arise!
trash game
The pro needs to lower the res maybe to 1440p-1080
Use ps4 vsync ? Drop fps no stuttering why
Only call of duty games suitly perfect for old console
Hopefully PS4 improves on release
they need to drop base ps4 to 900p.
PS5 120fps mode resolution is better/same as Pro high resolution mode, and with better settings ?
PS5 is a beast.
I haven't owned or played a Call Of Duty game since Call Of Duty: Ghosts.
I might pick Call Of Duty: Vanguard up.
Could you do the Vanguard frame rate on xbox series s when it comes out ?, since there are chances that it will go to 120 fps in 1080p, like warzone does
Why do they make us kill dogs? Couldn't leave them out of the game? "But bruh there were dogs fighting in wars" so what? There weren't supersoldiers like in the game that can stand a full mag of a smg
Why do they just lower the horizontal resolution instead of both axes on these games
Same game years after years ?
BF2042 for me
1920×2160 and 40fps on a £750 (plus tax, plus scalpers fee) console
The absolute S T A T E of the Sony© PlayStation© 5©
does anybody know if there is a matchmaking difference if you play at 120hz? like will it prefer to match you with other 120hz players or just the standard 60hz, because imo its a pretty huge advantage.

It will be happening only to me but for me the 120FPS mode seems more washed out compared to the 60FPS mode.
Porque pingas se bajan los FPS cuando tiene granada en mano jajajaja
Probably will play this game on PS5 since it has a 120fps and will have an FOV slider at launch. Was going to play it on my laptop but it ran horrible, not surprised since the specs on it are old (GTX 1060 maxq/I5 7300hq)
This game is awesome on the series X. I didn't play it on the PS5 yet but Im sure its great. Sledgehammer did a great job on advanced warfare and a better job on vanguard.
high frame rate 60fps+++ 120fps+++ only good for first person shooter game and esport insane competitive games. I cant win dota 2 even with 60fps I need to turn off v sync and let frame rate limit at 144fps to get best competitive experience. For AAA action advanture third person games, frame rate does not really that matters. What matters for story games is realism. the closer to CG level the more Immserive those story games are.
I was literally getting 40-30fps on every map on my base PS4 idk how this video shows it getting 60
You seem to have gotten much better performance than me on both PS4Pro and PS5. I was getting very inconsistent framerates on both systems that often just felt like it was around 30 vs 60FPS but could have just been the inconsistent frame times.
Good graphics and a pretty good framerate for almost 9 year old hardware…
Will you be re testing the PS4 when it releases?
