Xbox OG Emulation feat. Blood Wake (Xemu and CXBX Reloaded)

Rate this post

Blood Wake is a game published by Microsoft on Christmas in 2001 as an initial wave title for their original Xbox platform.

Let’s look at the top two OG Xbox emulators, XEmu and CXBX Reloaded. The former needs bios/special files to run, the latter is stand alone, but may not quite run as well.

Note: Please do not ask me where to get bios or game images.

Flash ROM Image (BIOS) (xbox-4627_debug.bin)

XEmu (Bios, ISO games required)

  1. I saw a windows emulator running on a snapdragon 888 earlier today. It was running halo combat evolved at about 5fps. Still pretty impressive.

  2. I look forward to the update that allows me to stick an original X-Box disc in my DVD drive and use the emulator to run it.
