  1. Really glad I got an XSX on thanksgiving cause this has been a blast. I agree though the story almost felt like an afterthought at times

  2. Hey Skycaptin,
Any tips on the Series X settings? Bloom, Chromatic Aberration, Parallax, Bloom, Blur, Exposure, Sharpness, Full Screen Effects?

Not sure what those effect in the grand scheme of things lol

  3. I don't understand the hype for Halo Infinite considering the last two Halo games that weren't very good were made by the same studio.

  4. Great review. I think the multiplayer is phenomenal in terms of the core gameplay mechanics. The progression system/battlepass along with the lack of features and maps is emphatically AWFUL. Lackluster is spot on especially when you think that this was Microsoft’s flagship release and how bland and lazy the multiplayer (and now the campaign) is just overall underwhelming. Sounds like a 7/10 to me.

  5. Thanks for the extensive review! I also was upset there is no Coop. For multiplayer, it's still only beta, right? Definitely expecting some polish. Need to bring back at least a few Halo 3 maps too!

  6. The multiplayer maps feel linear. The navigation doesn’t feel as creative or much of what made Halo multiplayer legendary.

  7. I really think the test of a good campaign is playing it single player. And my opinion of this is it looks quite fun and has an identity of its own. My opinion only: usually when I play co-op, I love to be able to take care of business by myself, without concern for other players. Funny thing is, I LOVE to see games with A.I. partners in the story, which I've heard does include marine buddies helping you in certain areas!❤️ Anyway, thanks for the review!

  8. They may give us some dlcs later where we can have different bio-domes…full winter season would be cool, or maybe a portion of a new planet, one can wish

  9. I've avoided ALL info for this ( deliberately ).

Do you NEED to install the free multiplayer to play the campaign?

I ask, as I'm NOT interested in multiplayer gameplay, but love Halo campaigns

  10. I still don't understand why they decided to make an "open world" halo. Saving marines from Point A to Point B isn't what I'd call fun. They should have focused more on the story while keeping it linear and give us the same freedom that all halo games give us in a large sandbox. I think a good example of this is Insomiac's Spiderman
