i started the game this year and got a wet suit immediately. i was able to get every rock and tree each day, so it was really helpful for me as a new player. i was shocked to see that they provided the wet suit so early on, though, because we wouldn't get it for a really long time in New Leaf

iโve had my island since march 2020 and only played sporadically until literally a month ago. i just got to 3 stars a few weeks ago because before, i only cared about decorating my house, but now iโm really trying to actually make a nice island. i think iโll keep my island the way i have it and just make it nicer ๐
I feel like being limited without the pole is the fun part cause playing day by day helps you earn it… now they're taking away alot of the progression which is gameplay imo… but whatever I guess. Pop off with the lack of new content Nintendo. God knows HHP was the last free update and first and last dlc
I have played through every significant event in the game, but I have yet to be taken to any other island then the boring island everybody gets taken to every time. I think Cap'n is useless.
I'm actually really irritated to find out they removed the first version of the museum. Like why. Some people like to purposely stunt the museum at that level. Upgrading it makes you feel like you're building up your town.
I noticed the falling trap DIY used to be given to us by villagers but once I recently restarted, the DIY is now up for purchase inside nookโs cranny!!
Havent played AC in months but personally I don't think I can ever reset my island. I put so much time into villager searching and item trading on discord lol
Well I guess I live under a rock, cos I had no idea about any updates! I just randomly restarted my island a few days ago and I thought things were playing a little differently, but I was completely oblivious until this video! I'm enjoying my new island though!
Not restarting my island. It took me 3 hours and 20 minutes of resetting the game to get Reneigh as a starting villager, and I'm happy with all of my villagers.
I've been thinking about restarting mine for a while but I also don't want to start over. Either way it's gonna be a lot of work because there's a lot of changes I want to make to my island haha.
I restarted last month and noticed all of these. I also noticed that they decreased the bell fees for certain things like moving buildings and houses. Didnโt it used to be like 50,000 to move something like Nookโs Cranny or the museum? Now it only costs 10,000. A lot of the fees for things have been reduced though Iโm not complaining.
I started playing after the summer update, just I was still limited to a small part of my island cause I didn't realise you could even go in the sea with the wetsuit, so I never bought it

You can money a lot faster too thanks to the wetsuit.

I stopped playing this week as itโs become pointless to keep doing it. Hope thereโs a new AC iteration in the future

I restart like every other month bc I canโt commit to a particular theme ๐ฅฒ (Iโm on 9 restarts now)

I never had to upgrade the museum. It had the art exhibit the day it was finished being built.
When I first played the game I bought a wetsuit and explored my island early on before having access to the vault. So itโs not a new update
