Experts of Martial Arts, Gemma, and Noah are here and giving us amazing details, history and more about the incredible weapons of Elden Ring.
Elden Ring is an action role-playing game developed by FromSoftware and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment. The game was made in collaboration with fantasy novelist George R. R. Martin, who provided material for the game’s setting.
Elden Ring takes place in the realm of the Lands Between, sometime after the destruction of the titular Elden Ring and the scattering of its shards, the Great Runes. Once graced by the Ring and the Erdtree which symbolizes its presence, the realm is now ruled over by the demigod offspring of Queen Marika the Eternal, each possessing a shard of the Ring that corrupts and taints them with power. As Tarnished—exiles from the Lands Between who lost the Ring’s grace and are summoned back after the Shattering, players must traverse the realm to ultimately find all the Great Runes, restore the Elden Ring, and become the Elden Lord.

When Noah talked about the bo staff style I was really hoping he would see the Twinblade move set… Oh well
Noah and Gemma should react to some Nioh 2 gameplay, the fist combos in particular could be cool.
Fun fact about the Godskin Duos is that they carve the skin from demi-gods to make the armor strong enough to kill gods so they used the Godskin Peeler weapons to skin them and wear their flesh.

Kalaripayattu isn't remotely the oldest martial arts Kalaripayattu is around 3000 years so it's origins are dated to around 1000 BC, Pankration on the other hand is dated to 2000 BC so around a 1000 years older, Shuai Jiao originated in around 2697 BC Malla-yudda originated in around 3000 BC boxing is atleast 5000 years and earliest depictions date back to 3000 BC
