The reason more people played elden ring is just proof people want multiplayer in there games and gaming will die if we don't get any great coop campaign games…. bring back couch play!! Please do a top ten couch play!!

Elden Ring and Sifu definitely deserve the Top 2 spots in my opinion. Vastly different scopes but both are absolutely pristine experiences! I would have added Triangle Strategy in the Top 10 aswell. Really awesome story and tight tactical combat. Definitely a worthwhile playthrough if you like SRPG's!
I wish someone could make Sleeping Dogs but with Sifu controls/gameplay.

I was prepared to be disappointed with this list when you started with Dying Light 2.
The games I have enjoyed so far are Elden Ring, TMNT Shredder's Revenge, Neon White and the Steam version of Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade.
Still hoping to get and play Tiny Tina's Wonderland, Sifu and The Quarry later this year.
All those games are shit

Idk when it happened, but fixing the overly loud intro sound in every video was probably the best thing gameranx has done this year
Forbidden west takes it all
I skipped to the end just to see what was inevitable. Elden Ring is overrated and certainly not number 1.

Dying light 2 was one of the worst sequels I've ever played. The combat sucked and it felt like a half baked, knock off, cheap rendition of the first dying light.
Just my opinion.
You just taught me something looking at the TMNT clip for monster Hunter. Don't play defense when the boss rages. Work your way in and destroy. DESTROY!!!
I'm not a souls game fan, but I'm about 100 hours into elden ring and love it. It has ruined open world games for me, I cant go back to other open world games.
I hated eldin ring because I couldn't figure it out it seemed slow
i completely agree with elden ring being a gateway to fromsoft games!.. i used to hate these games.. now i have finished all of them and im in love with all of them!

No Gran Turismo 7? Not even an honourable mention? I love Gameranx, but for me, GT7 is the best racer ever made and my Game of the Year so far. Other than that, I really do agree with all the other selections.
