“Ghostwire: Tokyo is an action-adventure game played from a first-person perspective. The player can use various psychic and paranormal abilities to defeat the ghosts and spirits haunting Tokyo. Combat director Shinichiro Hara described the combat as “karate meets magic”, as the player character utilizes hand movements inspired by Kuji-kiri hand gestures to cast spells. When an enemy loses most of their health, its core is exposed and the player can use takedown moves to destroy it.   1. Lol, you can hear Galm's disappointment with the story near the end there.
    Another fun playthrough watched, never was interested in the game and yeah, not anymore interested now. It has some novel ideas but combat really needed more variety. The elements were cool and talismans provided utility but I think there needed to be more. Enemy variety could have helped too, it's essentially different colored/clothed sameness throughout. Incorporating the Yokai as enemies would have been a nice change of pace and with Japan's rich history of folktales you could have experienced some crazy shit. The horror element was also the barest of minimum, again with Japamese horror you could get some really freaky shit to scare/unnerve the player like the eyeballs appearing in the apartment. Honestly the biggest scares Galm got were the first encounter with the Scissor Lady because you don't see it coming, and the other being scared by a random noise and a dog.

    Interested to see what the company does next but I doubt it will be a sequel to this or Evil Within 3.

    Thanks again for another playthrough Galm, happy to see you relatively healthy and fighting on, hoping for better and more positive stuff in your future.

Hey boss im confused on life rn everyone is going by my command like they don’t have there own souls my intuition like knows the next thing is gonna happen animals shut up when i tell them to or fight even a lightning bug lit up by my command or i said to dim the light they would. I feel like im in the matrix or a simulation or something because even when im texting or watching tv i know what happens even ive had my name be said ive asked for a train to make a sound by my house and there was when we don’t even have train tracks by the crib i live by an airport so if you have anything you or wanna give me hints lmk man

  3. I find it INFINITLEY hilarious that the game starts with Akito getting into a bike accident, and the endgame also starts with him wiping out on a motorcycle.

  4. I really was let down by this one. I absolutely loved Evil within 1 and 2 and this game just missed the mark so hard.
